I know that I read a story about Big Tech guys buying property in and around New Zealand and then building end-of-the-world giant estate bunkers and bomb shelters to hide from the apocalypse in, big picture windows so you could watch the unsaved quake and quiver as they wiggle and burn in the fires of the rapturous future playing right on in front of them on the big video screens they brought us, a bigger delivery system, louder in living color, filtered and encrypted, naturally and out there before them. I guess that's a good idea. I wonder how many people they will bring along to keep them company for the next 50,000 years? There are some bikers I know, when they find out about these places, they will go there and participate, looking to share equally in the land, and, hey, let me tell you, those guys make really good neighbors and you are safer next door to their clubhouse than you would be in the White House unless you fuck with them. It was on VICE that I heard about the big movers, those guys were great, VICE I mean.
