The god awful reality of the absence of sense
in absolutes, the studies are the same
this ain't real or important enough to be
it is easy to find after ,20 fuckin' 20
tougher to see before
but that's how you win, you are small
you must know more to survive and like it
or else

Where do you want to go camping?
The only reason that we are always at war is we are led there and we go. How and by who is your job to know and resist. It seems like it just plain sucks, you want to just go kill the bastards but, we are the bastards, all of us, and the whole point is to stop killing and damaging ourselves. One at a time, you say no. No war. No more ignoring climate change. Put the insane in asylums, maybe we can save enough to make it back, but don't count on it. I figure I might as well try, to quote somebody wise, it might be good. I can see that there is a chance to do what I want to the other side, legal-type shit, don't worry.
I used to think but not quite completely believe that people, the citizenry of America, were going to stop co-signing war, and military interventions through intelligence and understanding, I think we wanted to a while ago. We probably are not far enough up the evolutionary ladder yet to forgo violence, for it to be abhorrent to us instead of being so attractive as an alternative to taking time to reason, to want to take that time, we think if we annihilate someone we won something..I used to anyways, I don't know about everyone else. I went 180 on that. That was all fear. I am not afraid of "them", I worry about the nuts in the troops out there that are going to get the shit kicked out of them if they don't stop.
Revenge, Justice, desire for it, them, all that seems to be inbred in us, is not quite a necessary instinct for survival anymore. Has it, have they been superseded by reason? Is that what the big industrial revolution has been about, we started to crack theory and attain certainty through science?
No more snake oil carpet baggin' superstition driven wagon trains over the hills are coming, they landed already and the oil spread out, some soaked in, some burned off, some is at $4.95 a quart in Mississippi still, behind the counter, under the gun box.
Stop askin' for it.
