I was listening, vaguely, to our big current president telling us masses how it's going to be. He is a very eloquent man, even if he is a sold out lying dog.
As I vaguely was listening, some statements squeezed into my "distracted by the attempt to become terrorist dogs out to promote cat death" conciousness ,coupled with the "whose cat got into our backyard" awareness that I was also experiencing. These dogs don't think there is a place in their backyard for any cats they don't know, if I don't keep an eye out, they even fuck with the house cats. "Every cat,be advised, don't come over here" is the message that is conveyed through or not through the sliding glass door. The screen slider will not save you,cat, it is already perforated and we'll be right out to take up the matter with your feline ass.
The dogs have a method, the one runs behind the cat, the other runs alongside, snapping. They never touch them, they just love to terrorize them. They should have met my old red cat, Omar. He did not run from dogs. When he was a young cat, he used to lie on the fence and dangle his tail and two legs over into the neighbors yard, driving their dog, Hardy, into a huge hairy delivery system of frothing frenzy.
But, the dog couldn't get him. He used to go over later and have some of Hardys dinner with him. On the ground, it was one way for them, cat on the fence and it was another. Omar would not let any dogs come into his yard. I saw him go down South Main Street clamped onto stray dogs heads twice. He didn't like earthquakes. I think the only things he ever really did like was Dalton, my stepson, and me. I had him or vice versa for nineteen years. He retired to a friend of mine mothers sun porch up in Lake County and ate tuna fish and chicken until he croaked.
Thats a nice little story, isn't it?
Just a little something to take the edge off the end of America.
Oh yeah, Obama and his podium push;
I heard "balanced approach" and "range of concern"and "civilian surge" and "controlling out of control" and "restoring fiscal responsibility" and "protecting investments" and "growing economy" and "create jobs" and "win the future" and "Afghanistan is not another Viet Nam" and "broad coalition" and "viciously attacked from Afghanistan" and "twelve years" and "tax cuts" and "billionaires and millionaires" and "don't have any clout on capitol hill".
Then I had an idea. Lets see if I can make a speech out of all that?
I didn't do it.
Leave it for the pros..
I got my book I'm reading out, "The Art Of War", written by a chinese guy ,Sun Tszu, twenty five hundred years ago.
It reminds me of Ho Chi Minh.
I bet he read it, too.
